Cypripedium
I vores have har vi en stor samling af cypripediumer. Vi vil her prøve at fortælle lidt om hvordan vi passer dem og vise i billeder de arter og hybrider vi har i haven.
Alle billeder på denne side er fotograferet i vores egnen have. Vi beskriver dem, vi har og der vil være nogle der ikke er billeder af. Der kan være flere årsager til dette. Måske har de ikke blomstret endnu i haven og måske er der ikke taget et godt billeder af dem endnu.
I vores have har vi lerjord, så det er meget vigtigt for os, at vi får jorden drænet ordentligt. Der bliver gravet et hul på ca. 30 cm og med en diameter på 40 x 40. Jorden i bunden af dette hul bliver kradset op, så vandet kan løbe væk. Så bliver der lagt grus i bunden af dette hul og jeg laver en blanding jord på følgende måde : 1 del kattegrus (netto) . 1 del grov spagnum ,1 del perline , 1 del god jord , 1 del skov jord. Det bliver godt blandet sammen og der bliver lagt et lag i hullet. Derefter placeres cypripediumen oven på denne blanding og til sidst kommer der et lag oven på igen. Planten bliver plantet ca 10 cm dybt.
Jorden oven på bliver banket lidt sammen, så solsorten og kattene ikke kan grave planten op igen .
Hvornår planter man ?
Vi planter dem hele året, når bare man kan komme i jorden. Hvis de bliver plantet sent på året, vil planterne blive lidt dækket til. Normalt dækker vi dem aldrig til, da vi ikke mener frosten har så stor betydning. Det er fugt, man skal være bange for.
Gødning
Vi gøder planterne fra starten af april måned og til hen i juni måned med alm, hornum-gødning.
Der bliver brugt 3 hættefulde gødning til en vandkande ( ca. 10 l vand ) og planterne vandes så en gang i uge. Vi bruger ikke kalk til vores planter.
Svamp
For at undgå svamp har vi prøvet i år at grave alle cypripediumer op og plante dem for, for at give dem noget nyt jord at gro i. Det bliver spændende til sommer og se hvordan planterne har det. Er meningen hvis det går godt at de skal plantes om hver 4 til 5 år
Man kan også dele planterne, hvis det er det man vil. Skal gerne ske efter afblomstringen. Man skal passe på ikke at ødelægge de nye skud der er kommet.
Vi vil dele planterne op i de europæiske cypripdiumer -kinesiske - de amerikanske / canadiske - og til sidst hybriderne .

Cypripedium
In our garden we have a large collection of cypripediumer. We will try to tell a little about how we look after them and show in pictures the species and hybrids we have in the garden.
All images on this page are photographed in our area have. We describe what we have and there will be some who do not have pictures of. There may be several reasons for this. Maybe they have not yet flowered in the garden and maybe do not take good pictures of them yet.
In our garden we have clay soil, so it is very important for us to get the soil drained properly. There will be dug a hole of approx. 30 cm and a diameter of 40 x 40 Earth in the bottom of this hole is scratched up so water can drain away. Then put the gravel in the bottom of this hole and I do a mixture of soil: 1 part cat litter (net). 1 part coarse peat moss, 1 part perline, 1 part good soil, 1 part forest soil. It is well mixed and there is laid a layer of the hole. Thereafter cypripediumen placed on top of this mixture, and eventually, that a layer on top of the back. The plant is planted about 10 cm deep.
The earth on top of being beaten up a little, as the blackbird and the cats can not dig the plant up again.
When we plant?
We plant them throughout the year, as long as one can get in the ground. If they are planted late in the year, the plants will be slightly covered. Normally we cover them never to because we do not think the frost is so important. It is moisture, you have to be afraid of.
Fertilizer
We fertilize the plants at the beginning of april month to go in June, with ordinary, Hornum fertilizer.
There are used 3 capfuls manure to a watering can (10 liters water) and the plants are watered so once in a week. We do not use lime to our plants.
Sponge
To prevent fungus, we have tried this year to dig all cypripediumer up and plant them, to give them something new soil to grow in. It will be interesting this summer and see how the plants are. Is the meaning if it goes well they should be planted about every 4 to 5 years
You can also share the plants, if that is what you will. Must like to happen after the leaves have fallen. One must be careful not to damage the new shoots to come.
We will share the plants up in European cypripdiumer-Chinese - the U.S. / Canadian - and eventually the hybrids.
